Performing with the 'LCO'It was an honour to perform with the London Chamber Orchestra at the Nehru Centre, London on November 25th 2022. They created original compositions alongside my original song 'For You', traditional arrangements Chandra Chakraborty and I had put together for our album 'Together In Love And Separation' and a Hindustani classical piece performed just with Chandra herself. World-famous composer and violinist Una Palliser, one of the finest Indian vocalists Chandra Chakraborty, and the most popular young folk singer Saskia Griffiths- Moore presented a breath-taking fusion of Indian and English Folk with Indian Classical and Semi-Classical Music in collaboration with London Chamber Orchestra. Chandra Chakraborty is considered one of the finest Indian Classical and Semi-Classical musicians in the West. She has performed for Her Majesty the Queen of England and performed at major venues globally including Royal Albert Hall. Chandra is the CEO and Founder of the critically acclaimed art organization Kalakar Ars UK and is the pioneer of Live Musicals based on famous Female vocalists of yesteryears. Chandra has also been shortlisted for her tremendous contribution to the field of Art and Culture in the UK for the most prestigious Asian Achiever’s Awards 2022. Úna Palliser is an Irish born, London-based violinist, violist, singer and multi-instrumentalist. She is recognised for her proficiency in many musical genres, including rock, jazz, Balkan and Irish Folk. She is best known for her collaborations and role as guest soloist with many high-profile artists, including Shakira A.R.Rahman, Leona Lewis, Terrafolk and Otis Taylor and as the Irish folk singer on several film and television soundtracks. Saskia Griffiths-Moore is a London-based singer-songwriter and has completed her second recording at Abbey Road Studios. Her music has been featured on Sky TV, London Live, BBC Radio Scotland, Wales and more, she was awarded multiple grants from Arts Council England and has received glowing four- and five-star reviews from Maverick and RnR magazine respectively. Founded by Anthony Bernard in 1921, the London Chamber Orchestra is the UK’s longest-standing professional chamber orchestra and will be celebrating the remarkable achievement of reaching its centenary across both 20-21 and 21-22 seasons. Throughout its 100 years, LCO has enjoyed many successes and become one of the UK’s most compelling and inclusive musical organizations.
