I was robbed last week...

As many of you know, I was unfortunately robbed last week at the pub! Sensible as I usually am (ahem), I fell prey to kids in Halloween costumes asking for money through trick or treat, and just as my heart broke to watch young children beg, I turned to my bag and found it was gone.....along with my laptop, quite a lot of cash from all my gigs in Scotland the week before, a very personal notebook I hope someone enjoys, and a small piece of my soul.

So...lemonade...

Instead of bemoaning the current state of affairs, I've decided to learn from this mishap by never, ever, letting my bag out of sight in London again, and by trying to restore all my losses through creating an exciting new, fundraising record! (With thanks to Robert, for the great idea!)

Every time I perform, there's always a song I'm singing that people ask if it's on a CD, and I'm always sad when I have to disappoint and say 'I haven't recorded it yet'. Well, as I see it, now is my chance! My 'Live At The Roundhouse' album sold out completely, and I no longer have a solo CD for sale, so, here is my magnificent solution! ...I have booked a day at Fieldgate Studio in Wales where I am going to go in and sing all the songs people have been requesting from me this year as a solo acoustic album in an attempt to sing everyone's favourite songs, and to restore my lost funds and dignity! Turning the proverbial lemons into delicious, tasty, homemade, acoustic lemonade for everyone to enjoy :)

...So here's how to make lemonade with me :)

Step 2    ​Make a donation on the link below. Anything over £10 and I'll send you a CD in the post as soon as it's done! (Before Christmas)
